THE LEGEND OF CHIEF FALLING ROCK
& THE SPOOK DONK
CRITICAL WARNING: DO NOT PICK UP THE FEATHERS
The Boy Who Split in Two
High in the rugged San Isabel mountains, the legend begins with a young boy named Falling Rock. At only 11 years old, while scaling the treacherous boulders to gain a vantage point for a hunt, he slipped.
He fell a great distance, but miraculously, he survived without a scratch. However, the impact did something far worse than break his bones—it split his spirit.
THE BLESSING
He became a legendary warrior and a leader of unmatched skill, winning the hand of Princess Mufasa.
THE CURSE
His heart grew icy and black. He turned into a "sick bastard" who murdered innocent animals for sport.
The Final Betrayal
As the years passed, Falling Rock’s cruelty consumed him. He abandoned his princess and spent his final days verbally abusing a weary donkey. But the "Spook Donk" would have the last word.
On a night thick with lightning, a bolt struck a massive tree. The donkey kicked the trunk, sending it crashing toward Falling Rock. In a final act of lethal reflex, Falling Rock hurled his tomahawk. The blade pierced the donkey’s throat at the exact moment the tree crushed the Chief. Both died instantly, their souls bound together in a violent, eternal grudge.
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️
Do NOT pick up white-tipped eagle feathers. To do so is to invite the wrath of the Spook Donk. Never take a shower alone in the mountains. Falling Rock hates the sound of falling water.
THE TRUE HISTORY: ECHOES FROM MATAGUAY
This isn’t just a ghost story; it is a piece of living history for those who spent their summers at Mataguay Scout Ranch near Santa Ysabel, California.
For generations, Boy Scouts gathered to hear the tragedy. If you were there, you’ll never forget the legendary belly flop onto a mattress to signal: “FALLING ROCK IS DEAD!”
- The Blue Ghost: A 9-foot-tall spectral figure.
- The Spook Donk: The vengeful spirit of the tormented beast.
